"This is a simple, roadside lodge style hotel. The staff were all exceptionally helpful and spoke some English that supplemented our very basic French. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Breakfast (pay extra) was simple but adequate and included a toaster with bread, condiments, scrambled eggs and bacon as well as the usual pastries and yogurts. "We had an absolutely amazing stay here. One of the best places we have ever stayed as a family. An incredible welcome, wonderful food together - we loved it. A stunning location - the garden is beautiful. Very comfortable beds and pretty bedroom and bathroom too. We will definitely return!"

"Staff very helpful, breakfast had loads of choices which were excellent. Very pleasant surroundings x An ice machine would have been gratefully received, when we asked for ice we were given some without hesitation, we would have liked more but felt it was too awkward to ask for more."

"The Manoir is a charming, rustic property. A warm and friendly welcome from Marie. Te property is a couple of kilometres from the nearest village so peace & isolation is guaranteed. A refreshing dip in the pool on arrival was very welcome. Marie’s home cooking for the evening meal was lovely with a great selection of wines. The room was on the top floor. Good, comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a great walk in shower."

"The owner was at the desk and recommended a nice brasserie to eat: the hotel was comfortable, in an old stone building with a lot of character. The room was comfortable the bedding perfect and we had a little sitting corner. We did not try the restaurant because it was closed but you will find plenty of places to have a good meal at a reasonable price. Will return in a heart beat."
