With a beautiful layout that is thoughtfully furnished, immaculately clean, extremely well equipped, and ideally located both for convenience and aesthetics it met or exceeded all of our expectations. "The property was clean and matched the photos. However, the listing is misleading. This is a unit in a house; you do not get the entire house, as there are other occupants on the other side. The big issue with this rental was how unaccommodating the host was when we requested to leave our suitcases after check-out. He did not try to help at all, which I thought was really inconsiderate on his part."

This house worked out perfectly for the six of us with plenty of space for everyone and really nice common areas plus a nice backyard by a river with a grill. The house and property were beautiful and the area was gorgeous, very close to Watkins Glen State Park and a short drive to town with great stores and restaurants. I’d love to come back and stay longer!"

"This house was just right. It has 5 well spaced big bedrooms, and important to note a king bedroom and bath on the ground floor. The house was spotless and uncluttered. Each room had a fan and plenty of extra blankets and towels. One of the bedrooms is an apartment right off the kitchen. My son enjoyed this having this be very private. The outdoor porch was peaceful. All around great house"

"This is a property that exemplifies an absentee owner. It was clean inside but exterior was not well maintained. Fire pit rotted through, life vests moldy and deck smelled bad. The lake is beautiful to look at but full of seaweed and has water moccasin snakes around. It does have a two person limit so it’s overpriced."
