"We had an excellent off-season stay here. The staff are all super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were exceptionally clean, spacious, with very comfortable beds. The whole property is friendly to dogs on leashes(except possibly inside The Red Slate Restaurant). We stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful time exploring nearby Manchester, Londonderry, and Dorset. "This is a very sweet, cozy and comfortable stay. Very clean rooms, the grounds are well cared for, dappled by potted plants, and there’s plenty of outdoor seating areas to enjoy. One downside is that it is on a busy road, so it’s not super quiet but nonetheless - it’s still a gem and rare to find such a place. Highly recommend!"

"I called the hotel 2 weeks before to confirm my reservation to which I was told it's fine. Saturday evening before I left New York I called to remind them I'd be there late and to have the heat on in the room and I was told no problem. Later I received an voicemail stating that they had no room for me. The annoyance is that hotels.com has my confirmation for my reservation, So the communication is almost non-existent."

"My family really enjoyed this Lake House. The beautiful views of the lake were breathtaking. The house had everything we needed for preparing meals. The kitchen was functional and generally well equipped. The beds in the house were particularly comfortable. We enjoyed early morning coffee on the deck with perfect views of the lake. "The unit was perfect for our ski race weekend. Very accessible, underground parking included (ski boxes on top of SUVs will not fit - thankfully we left ours at home), really nice place with everything we needed!"
