"Just what I was hoping for as a first youth hostel experience for my grandsons. Quirky, clean, fellowship and fun! Sheets are included in the price, but towels are extra. Cons- some overlooked areas in cleaning- smears of something on walls and picture frames, a dirty cooking pot, etc. The main problem was the shower. While it looked very nice, it was poorly designed. "I loved my time at Hotel Oberland!! The views are everything. I made a decision to stay in Triesenberg, rather than Vaduz or another town in the valley, primarily to save money. But it was so worthwhile for the views and the quiet away from the busier areas. Thankfully the buses to Vaduz and elsewhere are timely and convenient. (Just be aware it’s an uphill walk from the bus stop, which can be challenging with luggage.) The self check-in system worked well. But it was a very pleasant highlight to have staff cooking during the breakfast service. They were so welcoming, and the food was great, just what I needed for all the hiking I did throughout Liechtenstein."
