"The apartment was not as described or pictured. I paid for a two bedroom apartment with a living room. There was only one bedroom and a kitchen. There was no living room and the 2nd bedroom was a bed in the kitchen. Also, someone put a huge dent in our rental car in the parking lot, which is going to cost us a lot of money. There is no way this person didn’t realize what they did, based on the size of the dent. So be careful parking back there. "

"The apartment is nice and clean. It is located in a very convenient area. However. We received the wrong check-in information with wrong key box code and video. We spent more than 1 hour trying to find the building in the video that were sent to us. But the video was misleading and the code was wrong. It was a horrible experience . We had to make multiple calls to solve the problem. "

"My wife and I stayed here for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed the place, the view of the mountains and the fjord/town of Akureyri, and the spectacular show that we got from the northern lights on one of our nights there. We saw the lights on two of the four nights, and of course, there's never a guarantee. But on the night that we had a mostly clear sky, the show was spectacular. "If you are looking for a clean, modern apartment in Akureyri that is easy to self check into and has many amenities and comforts of home then this is the place for you. Loved it here! "We stayed for 2 nights and was experiencing severe weather with strong winds and snow sleet. The apartment kept us warm and toasty they even have heated floors. We just scoot out to buy groceries from nearby bonus and cooked in the apartment. And just soak in the hot tub that was perfect! Everything was provided for. "Well equipped, although missing shampoo in the bathroom. Could use written instruction on TV, as we never managed to turn it on. Free parking is not available weekdays from 10 AM to 4 PM, although you can park a bit further down the street, away from paid parking zone. Kitchen facilities (stove, fridge & microwave) are nice to have."
