1 hour north of the hipster town of Madison is Columbia County- home to one of Wisconsin's largest Amish communities. There are amish stores (namely Mishlers Country Store on Berry Rd) and fruit stands. Additionally the countryside is some of the prettiest land I have ever seen!!
