"In terms of the setting and the friendly welcome, this was one of the loveliest hotels I've ever stayed at. It's off the main road, right on the shore of the fjord, with sensational views and is incredibly tranquil and welcoming. I look forward to staying there again - I didn't want to leave"

"My family stayed at Vollsnes Feriehus this August and it was by far our favorite place we stayed during our trip to Norway! Simply put, it was one of the most picturesque places we have ever stayed! The cabin was beautifully decorated, the host family was warm and inviting, the view from our deck was stunning, and we all had fun using the kayaks, paddleboards, and row boat. We only had a 2 night reservation and wish we could have stayed longer! Would absolutely love to return!! Can't recommend this place enough! "

"Front desk staff is very helpful. My husband's ankle was strained. Front desk lady was helping us to call doctor and provided us ice and pain killer. My husband and I are really appreciate her great help. "

"Nice views and balcony. Very walkable. Hotel is a little outdated. We were told there was free parking at time of booking and then when we got there was told that changed and was now about $50/day usd. Staff was very friendly and they accommodated us with a baby crib! "
