"Das Bett in meinem Zimmer war die Hölle, als ich unter die hauchdünne Matratze geschaut habe wusste ich auch warum. Da lag einfach ein Brett und darüber die Matratze. Dies ist ein NoGo… !!! An Schlaf war nicht zu denken. Unter dem Fenster befand sich die „Raucherecke“, eine Bank wo sich am Abend die Freunde des Glimmstängels trafen, dementsprechend roch es dann auch im Zimmer. "Pros: Die tolle Aussicht von Oben. Cons: Die steile schottrige Auffahrt die wir mit dem Auto nicht befahren konnten. Die Koffer,sowie Einkäufe mussten wir hochschleppen.Der Hund wurde außer Haus untergebracht."

"I was a bit disappointed with the check in procedure - especially that I had to re-park my car. (while another car on a similar parking place remained...) The staff was not bad - friendly in the typical German manner. That was ok for me but my friends felt a bit mistreated. "

"The description on the booking site really understated the beauty of this holiday home. We were impressed by the tasteful interior and art, and also by the very friendly welcome by the sexton of the neighbouring church. Clearly a lot of effort has been put into renovating this house in a classic / antique style while making it very liveable at the same time. Then there's the spacious lawn out in front where you can relax in the shade of an actual church (ruin), and the village of Huttenrode...
