Gladly, my stay here was short. The air conditioner worked well, the pool is a nice amenity, the fridge was nice and the front desk guy was cool, but they need to do a deep clean in the room, I’m not sure if the state of my room was the way it was because I got early check in, but the room appeared to have barely been cleaned. There was dust on many of the surfaces including the desk and night stand. There was spider webs above the window curtains. The corners of the shower appeared to have some sort of mildew. The pillows were yellow and did not have any pillow case. It was a decent place to come back, sleep for a few hours and head back out, but not very comfortable for anything beyond that. I slept on top of the comforter and used my clothes as pillows for both nights. They did change my towels and restock the soap bars.

Please stay here only if it’s your last resort. This motel is dirty, walls were stained. I asked for a non-smoking room and the minute we opened the door to enter it stunk of nothing but cigarettes. We told the motel staff who just came in to spray air refreshener. It seems like this is also where some individuals live so you’ll see some questionable individuals. We did not feel safe. The bathroom was dirty and it smelled like the sewers. Sheets were stained. We stayed in the room towards the back and even the front desk staff that checked us in was like “well you guys booked this so this is what you get.” In reality, the pictures were deceiving, and we only chose the room based on what we needed, we didn’t know we were going to be given that room. So again, do your research before booking.

Shower/bath was amazing with high water pressure and HOT water. Staff was very helpful. Rooms do need a lot of maintenance (paint/repairs) but all we needed was a place to stay for night.

Room smelled like cannabis and cat p*ss had a long-term lease. Grody is maybe too kind a word. Only highlight: the shower pressure is phenomenal. Which is good, because you’ll want to sandblast the experience off your skin. Would not stay again unless all other options involve sleeping in a hedge.

This is a wonderful place to stay in the downtown Dallas area that is safe and clean and well kept. With amazing staff that are courteous and friendly with the best customer service. Always a return guest while in the DFW metroplex.

Great Service

I had a great week long vacation stay. Room was clean and had plenty of space with a bed, sofa and desk to set my laptop up at. AC worked great. Staff came by at the same time every morning to make up the room or replace fresh towels. The building is on the older side, but what you'd expect for the area. Great budget, no frills stay.
