I never got to stay in this location so I cannot speak to the property or location itself but my interactions with the property host/management were unprofessional and maybe even dishonest.
First, I was not provided the check-in codes before the check-in time. Over a two-hour period, after I should have already been checked-in, I tried multiple times to contact the host with no response.
Second, when I finally did get a hold of the host, I was told the property was not available because of "water damage" and that the office had made a mistake.
Third, the host offered me an alternative, but it was only available for 3 of the 6 days I needed. And then, instead of providing me with alternative info, changed my original booking. This new booking was not correct and seemed to be for the original location but for a shorter time frame and for twice the nightly fee.
Fourth, the host then, supposedly, refunded me for the three missing nights except that the total refunded was less than what was owed to me.
Fifth, when I asked them to cancel the reservation completely and refund my money, they did not respond to multiple texts and did not pick up the phone when I tried to call. I left a message that I would be calling Vrbo and then got a response back, by text, that stated "we will refund you in full once Vrbo calls us."
Finally, I did call Vrbo and got an excellent response from them but I still have not been refunded the full amount and it is now 4 days later.
