"Just returned from a week in Scotland and used the Loch Ness Drumnadrochit Hotel as a base whilst backpacking the Affric Kintail Way over 4 days. Fantastic service provided all round by Donald and his team. From allowing me to park my car there for 4 days while completing my multi day walk to providing plenty of useful information about the area and things to do. On finishing my walk, I'd planned to stopover one night and return home.I decided last minute to stay for 2 nights to rest up and Donald booked me into a lovely room which was just what I needed after 4 days in a backpacking tent. He and his staff couldn't do enough to make me feel welcome and the food in the restaurant was excellent too. Would definitely recommend this place if you're looking at staying in and around Loch Ness."

"We got in late (after 11pm) and got a little confused because it was dark- but once we found our way it was absolutely amazing. The bed was a king size bed (as requested and the staff got back quickly to confirm this when I messaged them before we arrived). The room was absolutely amazing and the in room bathroom was set up really well. There is a common area with a microwave and kettle and I believe a refrigerator. We only stayed the night, so we didn't get to see much of the property. We did have some issues with the pillows being uncomfortable/ plastic'ie' feeling (that is a very minor issue). "

"The Highland Bear Lodge is a peaceful retreat in the Inverness Highlands. It is a must stay! We had a wonderful time! The Lodge is picturesque and idyllic. We had a wonderful experience and plan to return some day. I highly advised you to build in a day of rest at this wonderful location.There is a lot to see in the highlands as well, but the lodge is worth the time! 100% would recommend this amazing venue. Thank you for such wonderful service, clean comfortable room, and the coziest front patio, with the best views of Scotland! Thank you again! "
