Sometimes you just discover some off the beaten path historical landmark that there's not much mention of in on Google or the web. I rented a bike to explore a village on the outskirts of Tirana, Albania and found this little diamond on the rough. An old Ottoman bridge built on top of an ancient Roman bridge on the banks of the Tirana river. Not something you see everyday!

The true bonus is the host, Kreshnik, who is so responsive and helpful. Truthfully, I hated to leave."
