On a guided mudflat hike, you can learn all about the animals and plants in the Wadden Sea, the storm surges on the Halligen islands and the interplay between high and low tide. Ferries depart from the harbour in Dagebüll to the islands of Föhr and Amrum, both of which are well worth a day trip. Birdwatchers will get their money's worth in Hauke-Hain-Koog. The North Frisian landscape invites you to go hiking and cycling, anglers will find good conditions and in beautiful old towns such as Husum, Flensburg or Tonder you can enjoy a wonderful stroll.
