"The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. Parking was great. The staff was nice and always helpful. There was plenty of options on the breakfast buffet. This hotel was equal to the higher priced hotels i usually stay at. I will add this Hotel to my list of Hotel to stay at."

"Beautiful views! Amazing sunrise and lovely sunsets. Just about everything you need for your stay is provided. What you should bring: a kitchen towel, extra kitchen garbage bags, dish washing soap, insect repellant, sunscreen. The kitchen provides all the things you will need to cook. The closest grocery store is 40 minutes away. So stockUp when you go because you won’t want to go back. We brought bottled water because we have medical needs. The steps to the water are great, but not if you have mobility issues. We could do it and we’re early- mid 60’s. The porch is perfect for sitting out back and watching the water and the sun rise, so there is no need to walk the steps unless you want to get in the river. We did not use the kayak so I can’t comment. You can fish from the bottom dock. The host is extremely responsive and will assist if you need anything. We hope to be back one day. We had our tiny ShiPoo with us and it was good for her too. The cabin did NOT smell like dogs, and with our allergies we were happy about that. Our dog is hypoallergenic. Had a very relaxing week. Saw four bald eagles and a rainbow! We really enjoyed. Oh, also bring charcoal and lighter fluid for the grill, and a lighter. Works great. Cooked our burgers perfectly."
