"This is not the property you get when you get here. The hot tub was not even turned on when we arrived and was still freezing the next day. Dog hairs and human hairs all over the furniture. "The shepherds hut is in a beautiful rural position with excellent views. It is extremely clean, well equipped and comfortable. You have a lovely terrace, a garden area with a picnic table and fire pit. With peacocks and alpacas to watch it really is a fantastic rural experience. "This was our first time staying here and it certainly won't be our last. The shepherd's hut is beautifully decorated and has such a cosy and comfortable feel to it. The under floor heating kept it lovely and warm too despite the snow outside (which also made it super pretty). "We stayed here the weekend just gone (May 10th 24) as a surprise for my 40th birthday. It was peaceful, pretty and private. The setting was stunning and even had a few sheep near by. The cabin was great with everything we needed to make our stay a good one. We met the owner who made sure we were ok and pointed us in the direction of a tasty meal at the Sun Hotel. Would fully recommend if looking for a completely chilled few days. Can’t wait to stay again : )"
