"Amazing"

"Stayed in cabin 3, and despite reading some recent negative reviews, we were very happy with the room. It was clean, well stocked and the view over the lake in the morning was amazing. Breakfast was very nice and had lots of variety. Our only small gripe was the beds weren’t particularly comfortable. Mattresses are subjective and we were only there 1 night. Would definitely recommend and will be looking to stay there again. It’s also only 25 minutes from Cardiff centre. "

"Bright, clean and spacious room. Located right off the highway but in a lovely green space hidden away. The room was big with a large ensuite. It is a little dated but perfectly kept and clean and absolutely everything you could need - even an iron. Slept really well which is what you need when travelling. I would definitely stay here again. "

"The Celyn is located in an outstanding rural position. From the moment you arrive Sarah and Paul were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was good sized, clean with outstanding views over the farm. The sheep and lambs were in the field in front and it was nice to see them. The bed was very comfortable and we slept really well. "Beautiful house in a lovely location. Very hospitable hosts who welcomed us into their kitchen for a pot of tea on arrival. They gave us lots of information about the area and good places to eat. Spotlessly clean room with lovely toiletries. Good quality tea and coffee and Welsh Cakes. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and of the best quality. We will definitely stay here again. "

"Lovely location, with a restaurant and a pub within walking distance, and a 24 hour laundrette at the service station just down the road. The room was very comfortable and the facilities included a kitchen, a dining area with a lovely view, and lounge with a large TV. The owners were friendly, helpful and gave good information on things to see and do."

"Great place to stay right in the heart of Crickhowell. Apartment had everything one could need including quality toiletries, breakfast and towels. Parked in the local school car park for free on the weekend (4min walk). Will definitely be back."

"Situated at the end of a quiet lane with breath taking views of the countryside and the Black Mountains beyond, we were met by our wonderful host Sophie who welcomed us to her lovely home. Private entrance to the house, with everything you could possibly need, thoughtfully delivered to provide a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious and the best I have had in some time. Sophie was knowledgable and super helpful, and lovely to get to know. Totally recommend staying."

"A very homely cottage in a quiet setting just what we as a family wanted and got . The cottage itself had everything that you would have at home which you wouldn’t get in a hotel. Cottage had 3 bedrooms each with un suite bathrooms which certainly is helpful when everyone was getting ready to go out at the same time . We as a family wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this cottage."
