Great location, friendly staff, but outdated rooms The location is excellent—close to everything, which made exploring super convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. However, the rooms are quite outdated and there was no heating, which made it a bit uncomfortable. Basic essentials are provided, but I would recommend this hotel only for a short stay

We had a very pleasant stay at Kantu. The staffs are friendly and very helpful, especially Margarita. Great breakfast with a good variety of fresh fruits. Just across from San Pedro market, 10/15 mins walk to Plaza de Armas. One complaint, walls are a thin, can hear outside noise. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

It was very good and very close to town. The free breakfast was excellent and had a great variety. The only thing that I had a problem with in the beginning was finding the place as it doesn’t say Kantu Hotel on the building but it’s right next to San Pedro church

Photos are not respective of the hotel! There is no heat in the hotel! Floors in the room are “filthy“ upon ARRIVAL! Blood stained curtains! Very unpleasant smell. Bed has a sink in the middle allowing for poor sleep! Would never recommend. Will be challenging cost!

The hotel furniture is brand new, and the jacuzzi is absolutely amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful. However, the walls are extremely thin — you can hear everything, both from outside and inside the hotel. It’s very difficult to sleep, so I strongly recommend bringing earplugs. Also, when you book the hotel, you’ll receive a message about transportation services and tours that the hotel can arrange for you. Just a heads-up: that never actually happens. Communication between the hotel staff and guests, especially if you’re booking from outside Peru, is very poor.
