"We recently had the pleasure of staying at the newly opened Viceroy Ombria Algarve, and it exceeded our expectations in nearly every way. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome—genuinely friendly, attentive, and always eager to help without being intrusive. The architecture is truly a standout feature: modern yet rooted in the local aesthetic, with beautiful design touches throughout that made the entire property feel luxurious and unique. The pools were absolutely incredible—serene, well-designed, and perfect for relaxing under the Algarve sun. The entire hotel is spotlessly clean, and every space feels modern and updated, clearly reflecting the care that went into its recent opening. We also spent some time at the spa, which was nothing short of perfection. From the ambiance to the quality of treatments, it was a top-tier wellness experience. The on-site restaurants were also excellent. Each meal we had was flavorful and beautifully presented, with a variety of options that catered to both local and international palates. One important note for future guests: the hotel is located in the countryside, so it’s a good 30–45 minutes by car to the coastal Algarve towns and beaches. A rental car is definitely recommended if you plan to explore beyond the resort. "This place is a perfect retreat for those who are looking for a quiet haven to rest their minds. The place is large, clean, and homey. It's about 25min to Albufeira Marina, where you can do your sightseeing of the coast of South Portugal. I wish I had more time here, but for now, see you later! Thanks Stacey and hubby ❤️"

"Not sure where to begin, however this is now a special place to me and my partner. We visited 2 years ago - absolutely loved everything about it and during this visit I proposed to her here. The place itself is like a small villa and the location is fairly remote, be aware the drive up to get to this property isn’t for the feint of heart… especially with a rental car. It definitely adds to the experience of being remote but take your time and it’s not too bad. The room is spacious and the bathrooms are very nice. The showers have rainfall shower heads and there is a window right beside the shower - if you get lucky (rooms 5/6/7/8) they face west, so you can shower as the sun sets beside you. Each room is equipped with an air conditioning unit, so you can adjust the temperature to your liking. Beds are comfy, pillows are soft, nothing to worry about with comfort. The pool and outdoor spaces are what makes this place unique. The infinity pool is amazing and there are plenty of loungers and umbrellas for all. The hike that you can go on is awesome, bring some water and you’ll be fine. It takes you to a very quiet and remote part of a river with the option to kayak/canoe (you have to ask and pay first though). The staff during my stay were all very lovely but there was one in particular that went above and beyond. I forget his name (sorry!) however he was there the entire time we were there and was always smiling and ensured we had everything. Thank you! "

"My parents in law had a fantastic stay at Wendy & Paul their place! They are amazing hosts, helpfull and make you feel at home.The facilities are great, a cosy country cottage, lovely garden, nice pool, in the middle of the Algarve close to all the sightseeing and hidden treasures the south of Portugal has to offer.Will be back!"

"Un posto meraviglioso, immerso nella natura ma comunque vicino a un centro abitato con negozi e supermercati e a vie principali di comunicazione, quindi ottima base per visitare l'Algarve e il basso Alentejo. Wolf è un ottimo host, presente nella proprietà e sempre disponibile per fornire assistenza e consigli. Il luogo è spettacolare, silenzioso e perfetto per le passeggiate o lunghi giri in kayak sul lago (sono arrivato alla diga e tornato, un pomeriggio splendido). Consigliatissimo"
