"On the positive side Villa Paola has a wonderful view of Lake Como and is very private. Unfortunately, there are too many things wrong with the house and the local management company to recommend it. When we arrived, the lawn was very overgrown, the outdoor furniture was a mess and there was no umbrella as pictured on the website. "Villa Alceo is amazing. Staying here was like leaving in a different age and being part of a fairy tale. Everything has been meticulously cared for and has been done for the comfort of the guests. "We had a two bedroom apartment with the most amazing views over Lake Como. The property owner was friendly and helpful. Every morning we enjoyed a lovely breakfast on the balcony with views of the lake. You have to walk roughly 4 to 5 minutes down to a carpark where you can catch a small train to Bellagio town centre. I would recommend this property to anyone. We found it wonderful. "
