The Palace Hotel in old spa town called Curia in Portugal must be one of the coolest hotels I've ever slept at. This charming place was build in the 1930s, and it kept all its charm and glory.

"The house has a good location, close to the beach and to the city, with all services and shops near. We went by bus from Lisbon to Mira and got an taxi to the house. The accommodations are very nice. We had just a problem with clogging of toilets, but the owner went there on next day with products for us to use on it. The thermoaccumulator size is not enough for 12 people to take shower straight, so we had to organize turns for it along the day. In general we liked a lot to stay on the house."

Location is fantastic - minutes from downtown Aveiro, two big supermarkets and the beaches, but still in a residential neighborhood. "The property is located near the bus station and is easy to locate. The room is clean, bright and comfortable. Breakfast is included with good amount of food, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. Staffs are also very friendly and helpful."
