"- The water boiler was rusty and covered in chalk. - The beds were both small and uncomfortable. - There was hardly any linen. - The neighbors could be quite noisy. - Upon checking out the bathroom connected to one of the bedrooms, a high placed small window was closed by the neighbors! "

"Das Haus war okay. Die Zufahrtsstrassen waren allerdings eine Katastrophe (holperig). Die Lage war allerdings ziemlich abgelegen. Fahrzeug ist also unbedingt nötig.Ansonsten waren wir mit dem Haus sehr zufrieden!"

"We had a relaxing time in Chalice's peaceful house in Xativa Old Town. Living and sleeping areas were comfortable. We felt that a few details in the kitchen and bathrooms still needed attention, and the double bedroom pictured is a level away from the nearest shower; but in general the house is pleasant to be in, Xativa is a most interesting and appealing town, and Chalice was very welcoming and helpful."

"Nous sommes une famille de 2 adultes et 4 enfants dont un bébé de 12 mois. Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par Raquel la propriétaire et son mari. Malgré la barrière de la langue elle nous a parfaitement expliqué le fonctionnement de la maison et les commodités à proximités. Nous nous sommes sentis de suite à l'aise comme chez nous. La maison est propre, Il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour la cuisine, des serviettes, draps et la machine a laver était appréciable. La plage est vraiment jolie...

"The photos of this house accurately showed all its features, there were no surprises. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well equipped (some of the group found the beds too hard, others were happy with their bed). We especially liked the roof terrace and kitchen. Sadly before we arrived we had real problems getting an answer and understanding how we could get into the property at the beginning of our stay- this caused a lot of stress for two friends who were the first to arrive. "+ Fantastic Location only 50 metres from the beach with a sea view from the balcony. The property also included off street covered secure parking. The parking would be a very important aspect in high season. - The Kitchen utensils could have been better. Although the apartment sleeps up to 8 people the kettle was tiny and only held 2 cups of water. The Microwave did not work and we ran out of gas for the cooker the first time we used it and the replacement was empty. But the agents rectified...

"A great little house with an ideal size garden. The location is great as it is by a small river that runs into the sea. The beach is literally 2 minutes walk. Lovely beach which our dogs thoroughly enjoyed. The house itself was clean and the beds very comfortable. The owner was lovely and very helpful, and the house met all our needs. Just a shame we didn't have time to stay longer."

Loved it once we checked in

"It was excellent. Internet was almost always on except for 2 brief periods. The biggest problem was the inability to communicate with anyone the first night & being forced to check into another, more expensive hotel for the night. Otherwise beautiful location, nearby beaches, restaurants & groceries. Front desk very helpful"

"I can't say enough good things about this completely renovated building in the old city. Absolutely everything is new, in fact it still has that new smell! And quiet, really quiet! My room had a 10-foot ceiling and a small balcony overlooking a quiet street. It had a very firm queen bed, 4 comfortable pillows and a nice down-filled cover. Loads of closet space with extra towels, mini fridge, desk & stool, safe, 36" TV, convenient electrical outlets next to bed, modern wall-attached lamps, and 2 liters of water and earplugs in Numa-branded containers. Nice touch! The bathroom is the real star of the show, though. Very spacious with 7-foot rain faucet and wand, body soap, shampoo, conditioner and lots of hot water with excellent pressure. The sink area had a large mirror and a nice ledge for toiletries, etc. with hand soap and lotion. All very well illuminated! Hair dryer also."
