"The property was not really clean. Walls in room were dirty esp in bathroom. The check in time of 5 is slightly inconvenient as it is late in day and most people arrive earlier. However the hosts were very friendly and helpful and luckily arrived early so we could at least put our bags inside. They responded quickly by email"

"We arrived late in the evening, around 2330 local time with 3 children under 5 in tow. I had been in contact with the hotel several weeks prior to let them know about my arrival time, and I had been assured that there was no further action needed - I would be sent instructions 24 hours prior and that there was no need for anyone from the hotel staff to be there on arrival. On the day of travel and arrival, I received a message from hotels.com, which I mistakenly thought was from the property....

"I stayed a week at Le Clos Xavianne, using it as a base to explore WWI battlefields. Xavier was the perfect host. He helped me enjoy my week in Ribécourt-La-Tour in so many ways. Examples: He let me drive his tractor, he did my laundry, he drove me to see WWI sights nearby, his B&B is clean and comfortable, his homemade jam is to die for, he patiently spoke French with me. I could go on but suffice it to say that I had a very good time at Le Clos Xavianne. "

"Our host was very helpful and quite happy that we had arrived an hour earlier than expected. There was plenty of parking, the room was a good size and very clearn. Breakfast was amazing though sadly, because we had to get to Paris at a certain time and the farmers blocking the autoroutes, we had to leave early and couldnt take advantage of most of the excellent fare !"

"We booked this flat based on its incredible location and the fact that it has a really really nice bathroom and both things were incredible. You are right in the heart of all the action, but the flat itself is nice and quiet. It was easy to find, and incredibly relaxing. We will be back."

"This is an extremely comfortable B&B in lovely green surroundings/gardens. Extremely quiet. Comfortable bed and armchair to relax in. It is a large room; actually two rooms each with a queen bed. We were on our own but it could accommodate a couple with an older child or 3 adults. Might be a bit crowded for 4 adults. The bathroom is also large and modern with a great walk in shower. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a good continental one which started out the day on...

"Fabulous B&B. Warm welcome from Remi the two children and Lisa the dog. Communal kitchen / breakfast room, super bedroom and brilliant bathroom. Just outside the kitchen /breakfast area is a patio leading onto a lovely grassed area. You can visit the goats, chicken, geese and rabbits at the back if you want to. I did, loved it!!
