"I stayed at the Universal for 11 nights. My room was clean, the sheets and blankets as good as new, and attended to every day. It was quiet with no traffic noise and the occasional sounds from other rooms stopped at a reasonable hour. The staff were all friendly, helpful and simpatico. The hotel is in an excellent location about 8 minutes walk to the Cathedral the heart of historic Murcia. The Universal is completely unpretentious, great value for money and I will definitely return."

"Stunning hotel. Spotlessly clean and room with all facilities you could want. Only downside was the limited menu in the bar/restaurant. Would be lovely to see some traditional tapas dishes"
