What an incredible place. A view of the Hanging Houses from your room, an incredible restaurant right in the hotel, large comfortable rooms, a restored castle as a basis? Breathtaking.

Parador de Cuenca!!!!

This is an amazing hotel, there is no other way to put it. The easiest check in I've ever had at a hotel too. They took a photocopy of my passport and handed me the key. Simple. The bar has a great menu and the staff were wonderful. Highly recommend if you are visiting Cuenca.

It’s an old building, beautifully preserved, with excellent service, great food (enough for 2 vegetarians to survive), a wonderful breakfast, amazing views (though we did not have one from our lovely room) and a bridge to the old town. Cuenca is stunning. We truly enjoyed our stay. We spent 3 days, but could have stayed longer.
