"Im not sure how to describe this place. The view is unreal, te pictures dont do it justice. The pool is hjge, gardens spotless. Close by access to the sea which was stunning. The main thing i still talk about is the quality of finish and the fixtures in the villa. Everything has been done to the highest standard and just makes staying here a calm oasis in Sicily! The app to control many things worked well and my 11 year old son loved it. He described it as a villa James Bond would stay...

"We drove from Palermo to Villa Gavetta stopping in Enna on the way over. We were in contact with Angela the owner who gave us detailed directions. The villa is secluded and a little remote, so we were organised when it came to shopping for food. The Villa itself is beautiful. very tastefully decorated, spacious, super clean and very, very well equipped. The photos do not really do justice to the reality. Our nearest neighbour was a herd of goats wearing bells which tinkled from the distance...

"The villa was everything we could hope for and more. The view of Etna and the sea are breathtaking. The accomodations are so comfortable and spacious. Both indoor and outdoor kitchens are well-equipped. The location is ideal for visiting Siracusa and Catania quite easily, as well as the Etna wine country. Our host was so pleasant, helpful and attentive to all our needs. We highly recommend the traditional Sicilian supper prepared by a chef who will come to the villa."
