"Our stay at Kings Bay Lodge was wonderful! Chancie at Front Desk sent msg that our room was available for check in early which was perfect timing for us! Candy at Front Desk was also friendly and helpful during our stay! The property was a nostalgic old Florida motor lodge with an excellent location and beautiful water views! It was clean and well maintained inside and out and clearly renovated/updated after the hurricanes in ‘24. The room was spacious, clean, cool and smelled good right when you walked in. Good furniture and tastefully decorated. Clean Kitchette with all the basics and an ice cold full size fridge. Bed and lounge chairs were comfortable and it was pretty quiet during the week and so relaxing & peaceful. The natural springs pool was cool in many ways and the sunsets were amazing! It was a great location and walking distance or very close drive to many attractions or dining. We had a little issue with a few bugs (NOT bed bugs) first night but they must’ve been aware because a pest control company was there the next day to treat & it seemed to go away. We’re Floridians so we’re used to FL bugs so it wasn’t a deal breaker. I would much rather stay here than a boring chain hotel with no view or character any day! Absolutely loved it and we’re definitely planning to stay there again because it was so charming and all the good features won us over!!! ❤️⭐️😎"

"I am a world traveler. I made an error as to my departure date and I needed to stay an extra day. The front desk rebooked my stay, for 1 more day, with a seamless effort, by just saying we will take care of it for you. Breakfast was very good. a well-maintained pantry. My room was spotless and best of all, it was located at the end/rear of the 1st floor hallway. Gess what! No elevator noise, No ice machine noise. No pantry noise. No front desk check-in chatter. No coffee/snack chatter. And best of all the maintenance dept. office was directly across the hall...never heard a noise of their comings and goings. Very clean interior and comfortable room, and the common areas. The exterior areas are wall painted and the shrubbery are in excellent shape. Just let me say. Grate folks doing a super job. "This place is quaint and peaceful! The staff is friendly and helpful. The elevator was only usable with an attendant for your clothes, which made going up and down stairs during the stay was rough but that was not the staffs fault. Parking is not free"

"Great place to rent. Very spacious and open. Super clean, everything worked. The swimming area right off the dock was so much fun for everyone! Be cautious, the crystal clear water is deeper than you think! It was about 2-4 feet in some places out back. But very clear and refreshing. Super easy access to the Rainbow River. Blue Run is a 2-min drive away (or a 10-min walk). We parked a truck at Blue Run, then went back to the house, put the kayaks and rafts in the water, and spent the next 1.5 hours floating to Blue Run. Then we loaded up the kayaks and took them back to the house!I highly recommend the house, especially if you have a large group. We had 9 adults and one child. Almost everyone had their own room, with plenty of bedspace still available. We will certainly consider this as a top choice if we go back to the Rainbow River."

"We loved our time here! The kids had fun fishing off the dock and looking for manatees. We had lots of them visiting us which was super exciting. We really enjoyed using the kayaks to go explore the river! Hopefully we’ll be back for another stay next summer."
