This hotel worked for us in that it was roughly halfway on our journey to the south of France. The staff were very friendly and helpful on check-in. The hotel itself is quite tired and needs some modernisation. Restaurant was not open the evening we were there but the Local town of Avallon had plenty ...

We were informed that we could not arrive before 4pm on Saturday as the property would be cleaned and prepared before this time. On arrival it was obvious that this was not the case.
