The rear deck was comfortable and had a convenient place for our pups to go with easy cleanup. I especially appreciated the rolling umbrella that allowed you to choose shade or sun any time of day. "We booked one night and the following day to relax at the end of our trip, which Susan was extremely gracious in accommodating. The guest house is spotless and so cozy with so many thoughtful touches. We felt so at home. Susan was very responsive throughout the whole process and is such a kind and generous host! She spent time introducing us to their sweet donkeys. Between that and relaxing by the pool with beautiful surroundings it couldn’t have been a better end to our trip! If you are considering this stay- don’t hesitate!! We would love to return. "

"To say our stay at the lovely "Rustic Retreat" was everything we'd hoped it would be, is an extreme understatement!Everything was perfect....and so much better than the pictures portrayed . We spent most of our time outdoors...nestled among the ponderosa pines....soaking in the sun and the crisp mountain air. Inside was cozy and intimate....just right for we two. All the amenities were well thought out as well....and Sona was an amazing host.Cant wait to do it again....we will be back! "

"The pictures of the cabin and property do not do it justice. Pam and Rob were so friendly and know how to make a cabin feel like home with so many personal touches. When we walked inside for the first time, I was amazed at the cleanliness, and how beautifully decorated it was. Ver relaxing getaway. We highly recommend the Dewey Cabin, "

"I think the house was 18 mins from the lake and a super easy drive just out side of town. Got to see some wildlife and the bed was super comfortable!"
