"This house has an excellent location in Montsoreau and has very nice views of the Loire river from the upper floors. It's perfect for exploring the area West of Tours around Saumur and is easily accessible to Angers as well as chateaus such as Villandry and Azay-le-Rideau. We didn't have our bicycles and wish we had but the local walking through vineyards is still phenomenal. "A great stay overall. Hubert the Chateau owner is very friendly and helpful. The bedroom we stayed in was huge. We stayed the third week of september so a little chilly in the mornings when you got out of the shower!! Kitchen is fully equipped and a lovely big table for everyone to eat around inside and out. The surrounding countryside is beautiful with plenty of cycle paths and Chinon is 3 miles away and easily walked/cycled to. All in all a great stay."

"We travelled to Princay as a family of 16, 8 adults and 8 children between 4 and 8. It had been very hard finding a configuration of properties that suited us and this was exactly what we needed. The properties are converted and done in a way that is sympathetic to their original use, the floors and walls weren't all even, but it added to the charm for us. "The hotel is comfortable but located in a sketchy area. It’s convenient for three reasons, available parking for a fee, a shopping mall across the street with a small supermarket and a tram that takes you to the city center across the street on the main avenue. "
