"Clean and quiet."

"Clean and cozy! Loved the vibe inside, plus totally walkable to the main strip, Shepler’s ferry, and any of the local restaurants. Check-in/out was remote too, no hassle or worry at any point. Price is super fair for a simple little place to stay!"

"We booked our stay at this hotel and found it to be in a great location for shopping and eating. The real issue is the facilities are outdated and the place needs to be renovated. Our toilet was not mounted properly, the wall paper was poorly maintained and the overall decor of the room was extremely dated. The beach access was nice, but there needs to be better maintenance of the area and lounge chairs on the beach. We will not be staying here again in the future, unless they put some money...

"The property was clean and the deluxe room spacious. It was basic but clean. The pillows marginal but bed comfortable. The outdoor seating area was very small but good for a quick meal outside for a group of 2-4. We did not use the pool area. The ice machine was working and helpful. The coffee situation was only in the room in a mini pot without a decaf option. There is no breakfast option. Walking within 2 blocks of several restaurants and shops. Was tourist area pricing ( high) for amenities."

"Old motor lodge that has been updated. Its clean, basic motel. Tight.parking but plenty of it. Pool and hot tub worked as promised. Friendly dog at the desk too!"

"Worst stay ever. The room had a strong unpleasant odor, and the heater was not working properly. Despite the cold weather, the room never got warm enough, making the stay very uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the shower curtain and curtain rod were already broken when we arrived, which showed a lack of maintenance and attention to basic room upkeep. Overall, the hotel did not meet even basic expectations for comfort and cleanliness. I would not stay here again."

"Room was very clean except for Mayflies. Breakfast was on the 3rd floor above the lobby. I am handicapped and there was 2 handicapped parking spots both taken before we got there so lots of walking /steps or crossing a full parking lot to get to lobby, breakfast or our hotel room. Location was great for Sheplers ferry, views of Lake Huron , fireworks, restaurants ect."

"Shower in our room was poor because bracket didn’t allow shower head to be adjusted. Had need broken and repaired with a screw instead of replacing with a new bracket. Otherwise the stay was pleasant."

We booked a “superior room” which means nothing like the photos. We were told it’s just a standard queen with a water view balcony. "The view was great room was full of dead and alive bugs had to get cleaning lady’s vacuum to clean up the room myself window and sliding door for deck full of dead bugs door to the room you could see outside threw the side and bottom pot smoke from rooms below us nothing was done no compensation for having to do the cleaning or the smoke from pot terrible management ."
