"We loved this house and the gardens! It is ideally located, a quick walk into town. The Frank Lloyd Wright accents compliment the furnishings and decor of the house to a tee. It is well-stocked with everything you need! Connie and Randy (the owners) are delightful. We will definitely stay here again when the opportunity arises."

"We rented this place to visit family in Madison and attend a ren faire. It was great as we were looking for a small place with a full kitchen to cook. Neat touches with the Alexa with song and light recommendations. We enjoyed the living room white board - played lots of Pictionary. Our group was myself, my daughter, and my sister. The basement den made a great third bedroom. I might recommend a pull out couch."

"We loved our stay. The house was comfortable and clean. It had all the amenities. The location was spectacular, and the backyard was super peaceful. Joan was a great host and communication was easy. There are three bedrooms for six people and a full-size futon, which is great for our group of 6."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Saddlery! The 2 bedroom suite was beautiful with plenty of room to relax. The building has a lovely exterior deck to sit and enjoy the view of Lake Monona. The location is great- a short walk to the capitol and its surrounding attractions. We would definitely stay there again!"

"We were in town visiting sick family and unfortunately spent most of our time at the hospital. The home was located within 15 mins of UW Hospital and many local restaurants and shopping. The home had plenty of bedrooms and space if traveling with a larger group. We did take our dog and though there isn’t much yard space the neighborhood is great for a walk. Very safe and quiet. The only negative to the house would be the stairs if anyone has mobility issues. You have to do stairs to get to...

"Our stay at the Pink Acorn was amazing! Kelly truly makes her guests feel welcome. She left a sweet note and lovely treats. The house is stocked with everything you need and was exceptionally clean. The beds are super comfortable and have nice cozy blankets. Am added bonus was seeing rabbits and chipmunks in the backyard. Kelly leaves directions to walk to the beach around the corner and it’s a must do…and make sure to grab some ice cream at the shop across from the park."

"Our family enjoyed a delightful weekend stay at the EarthHouse for the graduation of our oldest son from UW. Pam wished us well from the onset & was extremely helpful when we added our middle son to our stay. At the time of booking, we were unaware that he would be able to join us for the graduation festivities. However, Pam accommodated our changing needs after arrival without creating any anxiety for us on our exciting weekend. We enjoyed a fantastic dinner in Mt Horeb Friday evening at Bistro...

"The house was roomy and extremely clean and comfortable! We were 2 grandparents, 2 parents, and a daughter (11 years old). We enjoyed being in peace and quiet, out of the comercial chaos of the Dells, but still close enough to visit if we wanted. There were lots of great restaurants in the area. The house itself had a beautiful kitchen, so we ate dinners in and lunches out. Hiking in Devil’s Lake was a highlight. Such a great stay!"

"There is more than enough beds for a group of 10 to have their own beds. The town is nice and quiet and it’s a 30 second walk to the nearest bar. We never felt on top of each other and were really comfortable in the house. I would go back!"

"This house was perfect for our large extended family who came to town for a graduation. It’s in a nice, quiet neighborhood but is a short 10 minute drive to the UW campus. Lisa was super helpful and responsive when I had questions for her. When we stayed, the house was undergoing some work (new siding and some work in the entryway stairs) but Lisa made me aware of this before we arrived so there were no surprises. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!"

I would recommend cutting the grass and storing your wood in a sheltered area. The wood was too wet to use-we had to purchase some & the grass was long with prickly vines on the stairs. The grass was long around the BBQ."
