"The Sykes Cottages customer service is appalling. No number to ring and the response time to the text and WhatsApp is ridiculous. The cottage was great but Sykes were not.
After booking I had a problem with amending the name on the booking and getting a receipt. I was eventually told it was not possible to make amendments but it was also not possible to do this on hotels.com. Also one of our party left an iPad and is quite rightly worried about. "We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. The location is perfect, sitting right on the local canal in a very picturesque village. The local church bells add such a lovely, traditional touch to the stay. We also spent some time at The White Lion pub, which we’d definitely recommend to other travelers. A very peaceful and authentic experience."
