Rosshall Gardens: the old boiler house. This building was Rosshill, a house. In its role as the main house of the estate, it was superseded by Ross Hall (built in 1877). At some later time, the original building, Rosshill, was made a boiler house; the incongruous castellated chimney is a reminder of that use.

Rosshall Park. Not far ahead is a footpath junction. From there, the path straight ahead leads to the park entrance from Crookston Road, while to the left is the river walk, and to the right is a path to Rosshall Gardens.
