Apart from the facility there was not much close by, but that contributed to the quiet, which I appreciated. Common spaces in building were not charming or particularly welcoming , but the location felt safe to this solo female traveler."

I had a little trouble navigating the shower that is in an enclose tub but that would not be a problem for the young. It is in a part of town with a moderately busy street and a rooster in the am!! "The location is convenient and right at the center of downtown Hartford, walking distance to art museum, science museum and other major attractions. Check-in was easy. The building was a little bit sketchy (smells marijuana in the elevator ) and with many air b&b units from other private owners. The unit itself was very clean and newly renovated, on a quiet floor (thank goodness), with great window view of the city skyline. It has most of the things we needed for the stay. "All was as advertised. The Xfinity INDOOR theatre us across the the street. Xfinity OUTDOOR theatre/ arena is only about a .8 mile walk away. We took an UBER there and walked back after our concert"
