"A lovely hotel, well located. Walkable into Cromer. There is a giant tipi in the grounds, serving food and drinks, which was very pleasant, as an extra to the main restaurant. The full English breakfast was very filling and all cooked fresh. There was plenty of 'help yourself' choices too. We didn't use the pool and the Massage hut was sadly fully booked during our stay. Would definitely recommend this property."

"Fantastic characterful house, ideally located for both beach and town.Really well equipped kitchen..2 toasters, 2 kettles, loads of crockery, glasses and cutlery.Street parking is not guaranteed but we managed to find spaces for 4 cars within a few metres and there is always a pay and display car park a few minutes away.A really good supply of books and games for all ages. The upstairs lounge became the kids playroom and the downstairs one was very comfortable for our 8 adults.Supermarket just 5 mins walk.Lovely beaches, some dog friendly.Large BBQ with all utensils provided.Safe, enclosed decked garden with plenty of tables and seating for all.We felt that the fridge was a little underpowered for the size of the house and didn't seem to be chilling stuff adequately but the owner dealt with this very quickly when we mentioned it, by buying an additional fridge, which definitely fulfilled our requirements!Just so many thoughtful touches...buckets and spades, crabbing lines, picnic rug, blankets, cool box."

"Very near the beach and good pubs. Cromer is an incredibly friendly town! Wifi needs to be installed as a matter of urgency! I did not read the details properly and missed that there was none - so my bad - but it is assumed these days that wifi will be available and, since I went to Cromer mainly to work remotely this caused me a lot of hassle and extra expense!"

"Richard, the host, answered all our questions quickly and fully. We were a family of 8 and found the house fulfilled all our requirements. The house itself is situated in an ideal location for both the town and the beach."

"Ideally situated. Everything in walking distance . Parking space at back was tight but a real bonus as street out front seemed permanently crowded.Apartment was spacious but cosy; the bed (and pillows) were really comfortable. Some areas are beginning to look a bit tired but it's an older property and it must be difficult to do things when changeovers are tight.We had a lovely time, thankyou.(A couple of trays would have been nice!)"

"There aren't enough words to say how glorious Shrimp Cottage is, everything was such a high specification, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Everything had been thought of and provided and so many lovely touches. The host Paula kept us well informed. Cottage is really close to the car park and the town. A perfect stay, even the sun shined. "
