"This boutique hotel is a gem . It's quietly located on the hill above Split only a 20 minute walk to the old town . We walked down into Split every night and cabbed back which was only 10 euros to return to hotel and well worth it . Breakfast is great and the staff is so accommodating and friendly especially Tena at the front desk who happily answered all our questions . "Hotel Cavtat was in an excellent sea front position near to bars and restaurant, but qiet and relaxing. We were upgraded from apartial sea view to a full sea view. The room was spotless and smelt brand new. The only criticism was that there was no socket for the kettle and we had to unplug the fridge. Continental breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. I didn't try the cooked breakfast. Beds were comfortable and air con worked well. The pool was lovely but the sunbed area a bit cramped...
