"The castle / hotel is surrounded by nature and the location is cozy and dreamy! We slept in the tower in a big comfortable room. The room however was a bit warm and no AC was available. The outside temperature was around 23 F. The restaurant offered good German food however a bit pricy. The spa was very nice with many sauna options, though some areas were not allowing
kids
so you need to bare that in mind you visit as a
family
as we did. "

"The hotel is a good walkable location for accessing the town center and Schloss. Staff and check in were excellent. The rooms were spacious, modern, well decorated, and clean. The mattress and bedding were very comfortable. The parking garage was inexpensive and there was plenty of spaces. That is the good. It was a hot June weekend and a key criteria for choosing a hotel was an AC cooled room. Outside during the day, it was 32 centigrade. The room at check in was close to 30. When we returned in the evening the outside temperature was 24 centigrade. The room was still close to 30. We turned on the AC, all it did was blow warm air. Front desk was not able to assist. We were forced to sleep in a hot room that never cooled over the course of the night. Cooling should be based on room temperature and occupancy, not outside temperature."
