"The Virginian is a small and older motel in small town southern Virginia. If you are looking for a bed for a few nights this is the place. If you're looking for fancy, look elsewhere, The staff was helpful, the beds comfortable, and the location convenient for what I needed. It is also pet friendly for a $10 per night pet fee, much less than I have paid elsewhere."

"Had a great stay at Greg’s cabin. The A/C was plenty cold. The internet worked great which was especially needed when the weather didn’t cooperate. Really enjoyed the view out on the back deck and the peace and quiet."
"This place is actually quite the gem. The only knock I have is that you cannot check in until 4:00 pm but the staff departs about 3:00. So you do a self-check in. That is absolutely fine except we don’t know that until we arrive at 4:30 pm. You have to travel six miles to Floyd to find dinner as the Tuggle’s Gap diner closes after lunch.
Also their sign says the store is open 24/7 which is not true. It closes at same as the cafe.
Very nice rooms and they are clean! Great location very close to an entrance of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Give them a look!"

"The cabin is an absolute gem! We had a relaxing stay at Moo Meadow, taking in the long mountain views and enjoying the quiet. The cabin is authentic with local decor and extremely well cared for— immaculately clean! Communication during our stay was five-star.
