"This is a lovely hotel with great views and is also dog-friendly (which is why we originally chose it). The standout element has to be the service — Leah and the whole team are incredibly welcoming and put in next-level effort to ensure we had the best stay. If you’re not staying at the hotel but in the area, the new bar is super recommended! There are some lovely pubs but it’s definitely going to be a top spot. We’ll be back this summer for sure now. "Bella Vista is a lovely family house in a great position. It is located in a quiet cul de sac overlooking the pitch and put golf course and sauna. They hire canoes and SUPs in the Summer too. There are stunning views of the castle and it is a couple of minutes walk from the beach. Sea views from upstairs are lovely and it is a warm and cosy house. Off road parking is good. Large garden. The table tennis table was much appreciated. There is not much lounge seating if there are 8 of you but there are plenty of dining chairs and some pouffes and giant bean bags. There is only one TV (fire stick channels only) - a second TV may be useful for some? Be aware there is also only one shower (although there is also a lovely bath with a handheld shower in the other bathroom). Didn’t find any information on arrival (such as when to put bins out, wifi code, suggestions for places to visit etc) as we have in other properties but we contacted Oyster Holiday Cottages and had swift and professional responses. There was no welcome pack either (not promised but again it was the first property we have stayed in that didn’t have anything at all on arrival. Most places have left a few basics such as milk/tea and coffee or wine/biscuits etc). No visitor book. Lovely walk to shops and restaurants and the railway station. Pleasant walks from the house along the coast and inland. A great base for touring locally or for days out further afield on the Llyn Peninsula, Snowdonia, and Anglesey. We hope to return as it’s a great family house for an extended family holiday. Thank you."

"The apartment had everything we needed. It is quirky and has lots of antique and eccentric furnishings. The beds were comfortable and the 5 bedrooms are a good size, especially the master and ensuite. The lounge area is massive with a cosy fire and 3 comfortable sofas and has a bar area too. The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything we need to cook for a larger family gathering. The large dinning tablw has views our to Criccieth Castle and the sea. There is also dedicated parking area that can accommodate 3 cars. The apartment is per friendly. We woould love to visit again. "

"Please be aware there is NO SITE PARKING. Hopefully the owner changes this toggle upon reading this review. Honestly, I had almost rated this flat as 4 star because it is advertised with parking though there is none, but it was so clean and perfect I had to give 5 stars. If your lucky you can find a space to park in the loading zone across the street between 5pm and 10am but locals park there too. Luckily, we found a little area behind the antique store, but if we hadn’t we would be paying £11 per day. "
