"This comfortable, well-appointed apartment is within easy walking distance to the cathedral and the historic center of Perigueux. With bedrooms and bathrooms on opposite ends, it would work well for a family or two couples. The apartment is quiet and very secure. We appreciated having a private parking place and direct access to the small park next to the cathedral. The street market in front of the cathedral was a treat. "We had a fantastic week here. The location is perfect - right in the centre of the town so a great base. The only downside was that the apartment is at the top of the building so we had a lot of stairs to climb - there is no lift. We are both in our 60s and my partner has a heart condition so that wasn''t ideal and put us off going in and out as often as we would usually. Would suggest that the description needs amending. Other than that - 10/10."

"Everything was as expected with regards the accommodation. The location within a beautiful village was such a plus. We ate in the village most nights as the restaurants were just a short stroll up the road as was the bakery for our bread and pastries each morning. There were plenty of places to visit within easy driving distance and the lovely pool to return to. As the latter is heated by the sun it was a bit nippy in early June but was getting a bit warmer every day."

"We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."
