"We really enjoyed Rushay - the house, Cottage and grounds are beautiful. Full use was made of the tennis court and we drove to Charmouth for an early morning swim each day. The beds are really comfy and the bathroom facilities are good. We did feel that the kitchen equipment needs updating a little - we just managed to cater for 20 between the two kitchens and using quite a few items brought from home. Altogether though, a really lovely time was he by all!"

"The owners were friendly, and attentive, but the property I felt was too expensive for what it was, there was no shower gel or anything in the bathrooms. There wasn’t a bin bin bag to collect rubbish. There were cobwebs and number of Rooms the black leather sofa was old and worn out and not very comfortable so although the setting was nice it did look like somewhere that the owners were trying to get out of as they told us there were selling up. "Stanley's house was perfect. I cant understand some of the reviews that claim some of the furniture is a bit worn.... the house has charm and has the sense of travelling around the world (which Stanley has) without ever leaving and feeling extremely helpful. Good accessibility to the local beaches and other attractions in the area with the delightful Beaminster town centre only a short walk away from the cottage.
