The Dolphin
8/10 Good
"The Dolphin is in a great position in the town with the benefit of parking. Bar, lounge and corridor areas are well decorated and furnished with lovely ambience. Cosy double bedroom adequate for short stay but could benefit from slight upgrade. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff."
Sleeping Bear Hotel Dorchester
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely place to stay, convenient for town and for visiting Dorsey County Hospital which was my main reason for visiting Dorchester."
The Old Vicarage
8/10 Good
"I chose this establishment based on good reviews online. We enjoyed our one night stay. The history of the building was interesting, we had everything we needed or asked for. Would stay again. We used it for its proximity to the Quantocks and other walks."
Bear Inn, Somerset by Marston's Inns
10/10 Excellent
"A small srve to Glastonbury, but close enough"
Days Inn by Wyndham Taunton
8/10 Good
"A little dated and basic, but was very pleasantly surprised! Enjoyed my spontaneous night here with the dog, staff very kind and helpful. Big cups in the room, with nice biscuits and Yorkshire tea! Very affordable too for the night, would very happily return - given at a services, I didn’t hear the motorway at all! I stayed for convenience, not a ‘need’ and personally for £37 a night, I’d happily go back again!"
The Walnut Tree Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Incredibly welcoming staff Spacious rooms Personal touch"
