Summary:
THE HOOK & OVERVIEW
Your perfect mountain base is waiting. This 4th-floor studio at Grand Lodge puts you steps from Crested Butte Mountain Resort—close enough to pop back for lunch, far enough away to feel like a real mountain escape. We're dog-friendly, filled with amenities (hot tub, pool, gym, steam room), and right now, we're one of Crested Butte's most affordable options for this quality of experience.
The Space:
THE SPACE
You're getting a generously proportioned hotel studio with real bones: two king beds (one is a murphy bed, so you can reclaim floor space), a full bathroom, a kitchenette, dedicated workspace, and high-speed internet. The unit sleeps up to 4 guests comfortably. Built in 1999, Grand Lodge has authentic mountain character and shows its age in places—think classic 90s hotel room vibe rather than Instagram-perfect. But that's part of the charm, and it means your wallet stays happier. What matters most works beautifully: the beds are comfortable, the space is clean and well-maintained, and everything you need is here.
KITCHEN & DINING
Your kitchenette is moderately stocked. You'll find a mini fridge, microwave, stove, dishwasher, and basic cooking essentials (pots, pans, dishes, silverware). It's perfect for making coffee in the morning, heating leftovers, or preparing simple meals—not a full-scale cooking space, but genuinely useful for extended stays.
BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS
One full bathroom. Two king beds: a standard king bed frame, plus a murphy bed (king-sized) that folds down from the wall. This configuration works beautifully for families or friends traveling together—everyone gets real bed space, and during the day, you've got an open studio layout.

GOOD TO KNOW
This is a 3-star property of individually owned condos managed by a professional management company. There's no staffed front desk, but we're readily available via email to help with questions, requests, or anything you need. Please note: you'll receive a weblink to our guidebook via email after booking—this is where your check-in details live, along with info on any special services or upgraded experiences we offer.
The building's common areas have that authentic 90s lodge feeling rather than luxury resort polish. If you need ultra-modern aesthetics, this might not be your fit. But if you value an affordable, well-amenitied, perfectly located mountain base where you can bring your dog and jump in a hot tub under the stars, you've found home.
WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT
You get the essentials of a full resort experience—pool, hot tub, gym, steam room—at a price point that doesn't require a second mortgage. You're close enough to the slopes to make multiple runs a day feasible, but far enough away to feel like you've escaped to the mountains. The dog-friendly policy means your best friend comes along. And whether you're here for a weekend ski trip, a summer hiking adventure, or a longer mountain retreat, the virtual concierge service means you'll always know what to do next.
