A 17th-century property restored and adapted as a rural vacation home, accommodating up to 13 people with 6 rooms, all with private bathrooms. Perfect for large groups, situated among walnut and olive groves, offering total privacy without nearby neighbors.
15 min from Figueres, Besalú, and Banyoles, and 30 min from Girona, Olot, and the Empordà beaches.
Entire house rental available on weekends and holidays year-round.
The house
Our house, the old Hostal Nou de Crespià, is located on the ancient transhumance route between the sea and the mountains, between the Costa Brava and the Pyrenees, offering guests a unique experience in an incomparable historical and natural setting.
Upon entering Hostal Nou through the main entrance, you enter a spacious foyer that leads to a living room, a large dining area that comfortably seats up to 13 people, the kitchen, and a double room with an en-suite bathroom. From the living room, which features a large fireplace, you can access the garden through French doors. The foyer includes a reading and games area. Stairs from the foyer lead to the second floor's living area, where you'll find four double rooms and one triple room, all with private bathrooms. We have the possibility of adapting a loft with plenty of space to accommodate 2 more beds. This loft (there are 2) can be set up in the triple room or the double room, turning them into rooms for 5 or 4 people.
Next to the dining room is the large, fully equipped kitchen with an oven, 5 gas burners, a dishwasher, a microwave, and a large fridge with a freezer. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to prepare a delicious meal. There are plenty of plates, cutlery, and glasses available as well as all the necessary cooking utensils for daily use.
The hostel accommodates up to 13 guests, making it the perfect place for a large family or group of friends.
All rooms are equipped with ceiling fans and mosquito nets on the windows, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep.
The outdoor space at Hostal Nou is as impressive as the interior. The immense 1-hectare garden includes a large lawn, terraces, swings, a children's playground, and a large pool that allows you to relax and enjoy the sun. The trees in the garden provide shade in the summer, making it the perfect place to relax and recharge.
The space is surrounded by walnut and olive groves, with no immediate neighbors to worry about.
Crespià is just a few kilometers from picturesque villages and trails for walking, cycling, or sightseeing, making it a perfect place to explore and discover the beauty of the Girona countryside, the Garrotxa, and the Empordà.
The house is reached via a paved road and has ample parking for up to 7 cars.
Hostal Nou is easily accessible from Figueres (AVE), Girona (Airport), and Olot. With easy access to the main tourist attractions in the province of Girona, you are just 15 minutes from Banyoles, Besalú, Figueres, and 30 minutes from Girona and the coast. The Pyrenees are just 45 minutes away and Barcelona is only an hour and a half by car or 55 minutes by AVE.
