"We had a lovely week at this property. Luca was very welcoming when we arrived. The place was very much as described, the shared pool was nice and the views spectacular. We found a nearby waterfall and good walking routes. Would definitely come again. "

"We loved our stay! The house suited our needs for our 2 night stay in Lake Como and we loved the proximity to a lovely hike over the peninsula and away from the "touristy" spots of Lake Como. A couple notes... the pool view is not the view from the house and there is actually a house in most of the view of the house with only a side view of the lake out of the main window so that was a disappointment and honestly a bit deceiving based on the pictures. There were no toiletries (soap/shampoo)...

"This appartment has a beautiful view of the mountains and lake. It has a beautiful terrace and it is very nice that there is a fence. It’s is big enough for a small family but a bit more cutterly and glasses would be nice otherwise you are washing up right after every meal. The hosts are very friendly!!"

"We stayed 4 nights but wished it had been longer. The villa is lovely with 180 degree views of the lake. It is very well equipped and has a comfortable king size bed. There are good restaurants nearby."

"We are just back from a wonderful break at the villa in early May 2024. The villa is better than the listing shows as they have refurbished since the photos were taken. Very clean and comfortable with full amenities. We had beautiful weather so were able to really enjoy the gorgeous outdoor areas and a dip in the lake. We really enjoyed a peaceful week, mainly hanging out at the villa."

"Lovely accommodation designed for comfort. Fabulous views, nice privacy, plenty of room, and very comfortable. Only issue was locating the property, be sure to follow the photo directions closely and be prepared to look back over your shoulder to see the last couple of landmarks. Make sure to note that you must have a car to get to this property, it is quite a ways up the hill from the water in a car is essential to get to and from town."

"The photos are accurate - this place is very comfortable with all amenities you would need and very clean, PLUS a fantastic view. The garden is beautiful and a perfect spot to relax with a wonderful view over the mountains and the lake. Lauro and Manuela were always available and ready to help. But they also respect if you want to enjoy your quiet and relaxation. We can highly recommend this accommodation. Thank you Lauro and Manuela for such a pleasant stay!"

"If you have the stomach and vehicle for a small, windy and steep climb to the top of Menaggio, this is a wonderful choice. Each bedroom had a well-kept bath (good water pressure). The view is incredible and we enjoyed the amenities. Only comment, is they do not stock it with alot of extras so be sure to bring coffee, laundry detergent etc."

"When we arrived we couldn't believe our eyes. We were directly facing the Lake & to our left we could see snow on the Swiss Alps. The steps down to the house meant it wasn't disabled friendly but that didn't affect us. We found everything comfortable but needed instructions for how to get some heating. "The Villa Perla was delightful. A quirky mix of the old and new.Good kitchen facilities for a group of 8. The bedrooms were stylish and the living room offered comfortable seating for everyone. The garden and pool were superb and very fully used during our stay. The owner was very helpful when we had a query and the issue was immediately resolved. ( Thank you Suzanne and Bianca). The Vrbo helpline was also very efficient. The star of the show however was the magnificent view of Lake Como from...

"Very spacious 3 floor apartment incl terras with view on the lake. Fantastic place to stay. Sven and Judith (owners) are very friendly and reactive on any request. We would come back any time to enjoy Lago Maggiore and end the day with a nice glass of prosecco with sunset view on the lake. 😍😍😍"

"The house, property and views were beautiful! However the location for our group was a bit too rural. . A couple of people in our group could not manage the walk down to the bus stop due to the steepness. Taxi service was non existent, so we could not have dinner in Menaggio, as the buses stopped early."

"This place was great. The manager helped us out on all aspects she is a 5 star host. She really went out of her way to help out. Apartment is super clean, had a chance to workout in the gym and run down and get an expresso in the morning. I highly recommend this place to anyone, it was great. "

"We really enjoyed the uniqueness of the apartment as well as the location. We had our two daughters with us (19 and 25), the bedrooms were a little tight, but we understood that would be the case when we booked. The check-in process was a bit tedious (first time I've had to send pictures of the water and electric meter before and after a stay). The architecture and decor of the apartment was well thought out and probably the highlight for us. The only negative part of our stay was the bugs...

"Excellent Hotel with Great Views staff friendly overall great holiday. Restaurant was not great/ food was cold when it arrived at the table think it had been pre frozen and the warmed up rubbish !!! also in rooms coffee making facilities not great only paper cups plus we had to keep asking for coffee to be left in room. The view made up for all that and made our holiday great . "
