"Waren für ein Seminar in Würzburg. Die FeWo liegt in ruhiger Lage unweit von der Stadt. Allgemein ist die Wohnung sehr sauber und gut eingerichtet. Es gibt sogar Getränke im Kühlschrank zu fairen Preisen. Wir würden wieder kommen."

"Large apartment. Kitchen very well laid out with induction cooktop and appliances. No microwave. Large kitchen/eating area and large bedroom with king sized bed and sofa bed. Pedestal fan in room a bonus for those warm summer nights! Building itself is ongoing refurbishment. And there is no lift/elevator. 1 km from main railway station and about 100m from tram/bus-stop. Very easy access to the city. A great holiday rental in a wonderful historic town."

"A beautiful, clean and comfortable property. The owners responded immediately to any questions and were so helpful.....providing me with antiseptic and bandages when I had a fall, going to a nearby restaurant and helping us order since I don’t speak German and generally being very pleasant and friendly. I would certainly recommend staying here!"

"Sehr herzlicher Emfang. Gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Es gab selbst erzeugten Wein und eine Rundfahrt mit dem Traktor für die Kinder. Außerdem viele Fahrzeuge für die Kinder (Kettcar, ect...). Wir durften unsere Fahrräder in der Scheune unterstellen. In der Nähe gibt es einen kleinen Spielplatz und eine Outdoorkegelbahn. Und hast es sehr gefallen. Danke und vielleicht irgendwann einmal wieder."

"A very nice, warm and well equipped flat. It had everything that we needed. As well as catering for ourselves we had a delicious meal at the Gasthaus. It is very handy for the train station, from where we got trains to Rothenburg and Wurzburg."

Als wir die Wohnung beziehen wollten, wurden wir vom Vermieter abgewiesen mit der Begründung, die Wohnung sei bereits über ein anderes Portal vermietet worden und er würde sich umgehend um die Rückerstattung des im Voraus bezahlten Betrages kümmern. "I can't say enough about this property. The apartment was spotless, well furnished, and so comfortable. (at an amazingly low price!!) The hosts were wonderful. I was not feeling well and Mary brought be homemade soup & zucchini bread from the magical garden that surrounds the house. On another occasion they offered us a ride into town. We can't wait to return. "

"I cannot forget to leave a review! Outstanding. What lovely hosts and home. My only regret is lacking the leisure time to visit more often. "Eine feine kleine FeWo direkt am Main und kurz vor Würzburg. Die Bushaltestelle ist direkt an der Straße und man ist in 10 Minuten in der City. Oder mit dem Fahrrad auf dem Maintalradweg unterwegs. Die sehr nette Vermieterin nimmt einen herzlich in Empfang. Im Sommer lädt außerdem der Garten ein."

Die Wohnung ist zentral gelegen, hat aber nicht, - wie man bei dem letzten Foto meinen möchte -, ein Fenster mit schönem Ausblick im Obergeschoss, zu dem die fotografierte Treppe führt - im Gegenteil: der Eingang zu Küche und Duschbad liegt im Erdgeschoss, und die Treppe führt in den Keller! Dort hatte der Durchgangsraum (Wohnzimmer) keine Fenster, der dahinterliegende Schlafraum hatte Kellerfensteröffnungen zu Lichtschächten. Das hatten wir so...

"My brother, our friend, and I stayed for 3 days at Wilfried's place in Colmberg, which is a pleasant small town just a 20 minute drive from Rothenburg. The spacious converted barn is very homey, with sofas, WiFi, a large-screen television, etc. Wilfired was very personable, enjoyed chatting with us and giving us recommendations for restaurants in the area, and even for other good places to visit in southern Germany. If some day I return to the area I will definitely stay with Wilfried again."
