"This was perfect for a uni visit stay. Excellent location close to the station and town centre. The building is a fantastic Victorian villa with lots of quirky original features and decorated really nicely. The staff are really welcoming. Breakfast was really good and included in our rooom rare which is a bargain! We stayed in 2 rooms and the beds were really comfy. Room has everything you need though bring your own hairdryer if you have thick/long hair. Shower is fine - not overly strong but these rooms are sympathetically styled into an old Victorian building - don't expect a walk in shower with rain attachment! Would absolutely recommend and will definitely stay again. "

"Spacious room. Ensuite was very clean. Great that there is a kitchen & communal lounge area. Lovely continental breakfast. Off-road parking is a bonus. Low-key and easy access."

"Lovely 2 bed cottage, with everything you need. The hosts were welcoming, and on hand if you needed anything. The area is very quiet and peaceful, the only noise we heard while there were lambs in the fields and bird song, and that was only outside; the walls of the cottage are so thick world war 3 could have started, and we wouldn't have noticed! The only draw back (for some people) is that the farm and cottage are at the end of a 2 mile long lane, which doesn't have many passing places, and there is no local pub to walk to. But that didn't bother us, and we were aware of these factors when booking. We were well placed for our day trips out, and even Paignton was only an easy 35 minutes drive away, the A38 being so close."
