"A lovely, well equipped.and clean cottage.in Scotlands highest village. Had everythibg our family needed for our stay. Comfy beds meant a great nights sleep. A few walks to do around the village and only a short stroll to the village pub."

"Warm and cozy sleeping with the shutters and curtains drawn. Respect the house, switch on the pump if you light the fire, and yes I loved the wood smoke smells, it is mostly round the fire, if the fire is only embers you can switch off the pump, it's circulating the hot water from the fire, I was able to see local interests and the wonderful fresh air, excellent countryside. The ruin of Carmicheal House makes me wonder at its one time beauty, and it's just a short walk to from the cottage,...

"We had a lovely stay at this cottage with our 2 kids. Cottage was well stocked with essentials and a nice hot shower. Walks straight from the front door, kids loved exploring the old mining valley."
