The Cascade Mountain-View Retreat

"First of all the place was one of the my favorite VRBOs I've stayed in. It was very well appointed.We had pretty much everything we needed for cooking, including oil and spices It was very nicely decorated with comfortable seating and eating. The porches were a bonus! The view is amazing in all directions. Wonderful stars. It was close to the Crater Lake (about 20 minutes or so to the west side of the rim) and I don't think I saw a better location to stay on the SW side of the park . One thing to be aware of is that food options nearby are limited. there's a very nice organic market about 200 yards away. It's small, with a limited selection. I advise bringing most of your own food with you because dining and shopping within 25 minutes or so are few. All in all an excellent place that I hope to return to. "The house was close to Crater Lake so not much of a drive after sightseeing. The creek was peaceful to watch. We enjoyed spending time on the back deck. The house was the perfect size for the 3 of us and our dog."

"The unit was perfect for my wife and I. The unit was clean and comfortable. Cowboy Cabins was close to Crater National Park. The owner gave great directions toons to the unit."
