"Beautiful property. The view is amazing. The lobby area, outdoor seating, and pool are great. The hotel could benefit from some renovations, particularly to the bathrooms but overall nice. Breakfast and the shuttle to Sorrento were great. Just be sure to sign up for the shuttle ahead of time. Otherwise you’ll need to depend on. a local bus or taxi (expensive). The hotel is one of the stops. The town of Sant’Agata is walkable and a great place to have dinner. One thing though is that the hotel did feel like an old people’s home. Almost all the guests are old people. This makes the hotel quiet but not lively or modern feeling."

"Just about perfect with a view across the infinity pool to Vesuvius. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful in every respect. Don’t be put off by the 15 minute drive down into Sorento as they provide a regular shuttle service until 11:30pm - and it’s free unlike the rip off taxi drivers in the area - avoid them wherever you can €80 euros outside the station to the hotel is unreal."

"This was a lovely spot: very safe & clean with terrific location. We traveled as group of 3 females from USA. Spacious rooms w ample towels, mini fridge, & very kind staff. Restaurant ok. AC cool but not as cold as I would prefer, so we brought a fan."

"Hotel Plaza is in an ideal location…close to everything!! The staff is extremely friendly and super accommodating. We decided to stay another night and they were able to upgrade us to a larger room overlooking one of the main streets with a balcony. The morning breakfast buffet is AMAZING! The most delicious buffet we’ve ever had at a hotel. They also provide all of the amenities you could imagine in the rooms and the bed is super comfortable. The rooftop pool is even more beautiful than the online photos with a stunning view of Mount Vesuvius. We recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sorrento!"

"There’s no restaurant at the hotel, but just down the road is a great restaurant, very romantic! Anna, of the hotel staff, was super helpful. The hotel is far from the town center, but there is a shuttle to and from the town center. The views from the hotel are great. The whole place is very romantic. We loved it."

Every member of The hotel staff treated us with such great care and consideration. Additionally the restaurant experience was phenomenal, replete with a personal tour of their pre-Roman wine cellar with a spectacular wine selection. Strongly recommend for an unforgettable experience!!!"
